I’ve always believed that creating a home you love doesn’t have to mean having a perfectly decorated house or spending a lot of money. Sometimes it’s a recipe your family asks for again and again. Sometimes it’s finally finding a simple solution to something that has been driving you crazy. And sometimes it’s discovering one of those products that works so well you immediately want to tell your mom, sister, neighbor, and best friend about it.

Wendy
I’m the storyteller, recipe maker, product tester, gift planner, home organizer, and the person behind most of the ideas you’ll find throughout Wendy’s Cozy Home.
Many of the things I write about come directly from our own life and experiences.
If I recommend a kitchen gadget, there’s a pretty good chance it has been sitting in my kitchen for years. If I share a gift idea, it may be something I’ve actually given someone I love. If I share a home solution, it’s probably because I had the same frustrating problem at some point and went looking for a way to fix it.
And when I share a recipe, there is usually a story behind that too.
I love passing along the things that have worked for our family, along with the lessons I’ve learned through years of creating a home, raising children, becoming a grandma, and navigating all of the ordinary and not-so-ordinary seasons of life.
Wendy’s Husband
My husband, Todd, brings a completely different set of talents to Wendy’s Cozy Home, and I’m incredibly grateful to have him working alongside me.
He has been creating and managing blogs since 2019 and has built websites around several very different subjects over the years.
One of those was a blog about our two Shihpoos, which probably tells you a little bit about our household. Another about reverse mortgages.
All of that experience means he understands much of the technical, organizational, and behind-the-scenes side of running a blog.
He also speaks Spanish and French, which is just one more skill he brings to our little team.
We have different strengths, and that’s one of the reasons we work so well together. He brings years of experience with websites and blogging and helps turn all of those ideas into something we can actually share with you.
Most importantly, we genuinely enjoy doing this together.
We’re best friends, and building Wendy’s Cozy Home has become another adventure we get to share.
